The Azerbaijani national Greco-Roman wrestling team has started its next training camp today. According to Sport24.az, the team will undergo preparation in Vladikavkaz, Russia, until May 19.
The training camp, which will include both physical and tactical-technical exercises, will be led by head coach Aleksandr Tarakanov, senior coach Rovshan Bayramov, and coaches Hasan Aliyev and Elvin Mursaliyev. The team includes Elmir Aliyev (55 kg), Nihat Mammadli, Ilkin Gurbanov (both 60 kg), Murad Mammadov, Ziya Babashov (both 63 kg), Hasrat Jafarov, Farid Khalilov, Mahammad Shukurzada (all 67 kg), Ulvu Ganizade, Ruslan Nurullayev (both 72 kg), Sanan Suleymanov, Khassay Hasanli (both 77 kg), Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg), Islam Abbasov (87 kg), Arif Niftullayev (97 kg), and Beka Kandelaki (130 kg).
It should be noted that national team members undergoing recovery will continue training in Baku under the supervision of coach Kamran Mammadov.
