The "Nejad Hashemi Cup" freestyle wrestling tournament held in Behshahr, Iran has come to an end. Sport24.az reports that the winners in 61, 70, 79, 92 and 125 kg were determined on the last day of the competition.
3 members of the Azerbaijan U-20 national team climbed the podium. Anar Jafarli (92 kg) and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) won silver medals, while Nurlan Aghazade (70 kg) won a bronze medal.
In the team standings of the tournament represented by 7 countries, Iran took first place, India second, and Azerbaijan third.
It should be noted that Omar Gulmammadov (74 kg) won a silver medal and Sadraddin Hasanov (57 kg) won a bronze medal on the first day of the competition.
