The first competition that the Azerbaijani national freestyle wrestling team will participate in in 2025 has been determined. Sport24.az reports that 8 members of the team will participate in the Dan Kolov and Nikola Petrov Memorial Tournament, which will be held in Varna, Bulgaria.
Rahman Imanov (57 kg), Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg), Murad Hagverdiyev (65 kg), Zireddin Bayramov (70 kg), Farid Jabbarov, Sabuhi Amiraslanov (both 79 kg), Sadig Mustafazade (92 kg) and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) will represent our country in the traditional competition, which will last from January 23 to 26, under the leadership of coach Taymuraz Kokoyev.
It should be noted that Zaur Sharifov, a category I judge, will maintain justice at the Memorial.
