Our national women's wrestling team has started a training camp abroad.
İdman.biz reports that our team has started a joint training camp (TMT) with the local team in Niğde, Turkey.
The national teams of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are also expected to join the preparation process, which will last until June 25.
The training camp, which is preparatory in nature for the upcoming international competitions, includes Asmar Cankurtaran (50 kg), Elnura Mammadova (53 kg), Nargiz Samadova, Gultakin Shirinova (both 55 kg), Jala Aliyeva (57 kg), Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg), Ruzanna Mammadova and Birgul Soltanova (both 62 kg) under the leadership of acting head coach Toghrul Asgarov and senior coach Agahuseyn Mustafayev.
It should be noted that after the training camp, Gunay and Ruzanna will go to Caorle, Italy to participate in the U20 European Championship. The other wrestlers will participate in the Yaşar Doğu, Vehbi Emre and Hamit Kaplan memorial tournament to be held in Kocaeli, Turkey.
