Azerbaijani wrestlers will try to achieve better results in future competitions.
This was stated by Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg), Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler, who won a bronze medal at the World Championship held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, in an interview with "Report".
He said that it is a pleasant feeling to return to the Motherland after difficult competitions:
"It is always a pleasure to come to Azerbaijan - my home. We are warmly welcomed here after every competition. I would like to thank the fans and the management for their support. A new Olympic period is starting, and our team is already starting to pick up speed. We showed successful results, but we will try to achieve even better."
It should be noted that Osman Nurmagomedov defeated Georgian representative Miriani Maisuradze with a score of 5:1 in the match for third place.
