New wrestling halls are planned to be opened in Azerbaijan.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to "Report" that this was stated by Namig Aliyev, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, in his statement to journalists.
The official of the organization said that they are working for the development of wrestling:
"Some time ago, Mikayil Jabbarov was re-elected as the President of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation. One of the issues discussed at that meeting was the opening of new halls. During the year, it is planned to open halls in regions such as Mingachevir, Goychay, Agsu, and Ganja. We are working for the development of wrestling in Azerbaijan".
It should be noted that with the support of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, a Greco-Roman wrestling hall named after the famous wrestler Taleh Mammadov was put into use today in Zabrat settlement.
