Our experienced referees demonstrated great responsibility and accuracy in managing the matches, justifying the trust of the United World Wrestling (UWW).
It should be noted that this world championship was remarkable as Hajiyev's last international competition. In accordance with UWW rules, our compatriot, who turned 60, officially handed over his whistle and armbands, saying goodbye to his international refereeing activity. On the last day of the competition, the supreme body presented the referee with a souvenir gift.
