The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (zone) Freestyle Wrestling Championship among young wrestlers has ended at the Olympic Sports Complex named after Ilham Aliyev.
Idman.Biz reports that more than 130 athletes in two age categories competed for victory in the competition jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation.
The meetings of the second competition day were held on January 24. In the competition covering those born in 2011-2013, Fuad Iskandarli (38 kg), Ibrahim Khalilov (41 kg), Gahraman Gahramanli (44 kg), Shahin Asgarli (48 kg), Shamkhal Alizade (52 kg), Tural Mirzayev (57 kg), Eltun Abuzarli (62 kg), Ramal Bagirov (68 kg), Eshgin Ruhani (75 kg) and Adam Babayev were awarded the first place.
Diplomas and medals were presented to the owners of the first three places.
