Mikayil Jabbarov has been re-elected as the President of the Wrestling Federation.
Idmna.Biz reports that Mikayil Jabbarov was re-elected as the president at the general meeting of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation held today.
It was reported that the event was attended by the president of the federation Mikayil Jabbarov, vice-president Namig Aliyev, members of the Executive Committee Namig Abdullayev, Farid Mansurov, Vasif Mammadov, the First Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade, the head of the Sports Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Elnur Mammadov, as well as members of the federation.
A report on the federation's activities over the past 4 years was presented at the meeting. It was reported that in 2022–2025, Azerbaijani wrestlers won 1031 medals at international competitions, major tournaments were organized at a high level, and infrastructure and mass projects were expanded.
In his final speech, Cabbarov announced the goals for the next 4 years and wished the wrestlers success.
