Our Greco-Roman wrestlers have achieved a new record by winning a gold medal for the first time at the U-23 World Championships.
"Report" reports that this was written by Mikayil Jabbarov, President of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, on his "X" account.
"We congratulate the coaching staff of our team, who achieved their best result in terms of the quality of the medals, our medal-winning wrestlers and their family members, and wish them continued brilliant victories in future competitions," said M. Jabbarov.
It should be noted that at the U-23 World Championships held in Novi Sad, Serbia, Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers Elmir Aliyev (55 kg) and Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg) won gold and bronze medals, respectively.
