The head of the organization congratulated the wrestlers who won medals at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games:
"Our wrestlers concluded 2025 with magnificent results. Our team performed brilliantly at the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, winning 11 medals (2 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze). We sincerely congratulate our athletes, their coaches and parents on this achievement, and wish them continued success in the coming year."
It should be noted that at the Islamic Games, Azerbaijani wrestlers Jala Aliyeva and Arseniy Djioyev won gold, Hasrat Jafarov, Murad Ahmadiev, Ruzanna Mammadova, Islam Bazarghanov, Aghanazar Novruzov won silver, Elnura Mammadova, Nigar Mirzazade, Magomedkhan Magomedov, Giorgi Meshvildishvili won bronze medals.
