PSG coach Luis Enrique continues to rise in the list of coaches who have won the most awards in European football.
According to Idman.Biz, the Parisians have won the UEFA Super Cup for the second year in a row, defeating "Aston Villa" 2:1. Last year, PSG defeated another English Premier League team, "Tottenham", in the final. The match ended 2:2 in regular time and PSG won in the penalty shootout.
This latest success is the sixth European trophy in Luis Enrique's coaching career, bringing him to the level of Alex Ferguson and Giovanni Trapattoni.
Only two coaches have won more European Cups. Josep Guardiola has seven European Cups, and Carlo Ancelotti leads with ten.
PSG's victory over "Aston Villa" makes them the third club to win the UEFA Super Cup in two consecutive years. AC "Milan" and "Real Madrid" have achieved this success before.
