Sport.Biz reports that under the Spanish coach, "Aston Villa" lost to PSJ with a score of 1:2 and lost the cup.
Emery had previously lost two UEFA Super Cups with "Sevilla" - in 2014 to "Real Madrid" (0:2) and in 2015 to "Barcelona" (4:5). In 2021, Unai's "Villarreal" lost to "Chelsea" (1:1, 5:6 on penalties).
Emery has never won this cup in his coaching career.
