Mikayil Jabbarov, President of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, congratulated the wrestlers who won medals at the World Championship held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

"The first medalists have been determined at the World Championship held in Zagreb, Croatia. 3 members of our national freestyle wrestling team have risen to the podium. Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) won a silver medal, and Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg) and Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg) won bronze medals. We congratulate our wrestlers, coaches and family members of the athletes who achieved this success with great determination. We believe that these successes will continue in the coming days," the head of the federation said.
It should be noted that the World Cup will end on September 21.
