The World Armwrestling Championship in the categories of juniors, youth, adults, masters and grand masters was held in "Jolly Joker Baku" in Baku with the support of the International Armwrestling Federation (IFA) and organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan.
According to Lent.az, the championship was attended by more than 400 athletes from 30 different countries of the world, competing and testing their strength.
Rashad Hajiyev, an employee of the Sumgayit Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who participated in the competition, won the bronze medal of the championship by competing with his right arm among 10 athletes in the master category in the +105 kg weight category. The winner was awarded a medal and a championship certificate.
On November 5, the head of the Sports and Health Club of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Colonel Fuzuli Musayev, met with the successful employee, congratulated him and wished him success in future competitions.
