Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Magomedkhan Magomedov gave no chance to any of his opponents at the Soslan Andiyev Memorial Tournament, a two-time Olympic champion, in Vladikavkaz, Russia.
The national team member stated that he will stay in his current weight category.
"I had five matches in the competition and gave almost no chance to any of my opponents. I wrestled at 125 kg for the first time. I defeated an athlete from Hungary in the final and took first place. Then I had a match in the absolute weight category. Here, my Dagestani opponent couldn't wrestle until the end because he had a problem with his leg. I think my current weight is normal and I will continue like this for now," he said in a statement to Report.
It should be noted that M. Magomedov tested himself at 125 kg for the first time and won a gold medal at the Soslan Andiyev Memorial Tournament, a two-time Olympic champion in Vladikavkaz.
