These words were said in an interview with Idman.biz by the legendary Belarusian wrestler of Azerbaijani origin, Olympic champion, two-time world and three-time European champion (Greco-Roman wrestling) Kamandar Madzhidov while commenting on the performance of our wrestlers at the World Championship in Zagreb.
Majidov especially emphasized the success of Ulvi Ganizade:
"Ulvi fought equally and confidently in every match and deservedly won. I really feel sorry for the French wrestler, whom he defeated in the final of the European and World Championships for the third time in a row (laughs)."
Regarding other athletes, the legendary wrestler said:
"I saw Hasrat Jafarov without aggression, which is not a good thing. I think that's why he lost in the final. Gurban Gurbanov, who competed in the 82 kg weight category, disappointed me a lot.
