The Ali Aliyev Memorial freestyle wrestling tournament, held in Kaspiysk, Russia, in memory of the 5-time world champion, has concluded.
Idman.biz reports that the medalists in the 61, 70, 79, 92, and 125 kg categories were determined on the final day of the 55th edition of the Memorial.
National team member Jabrayil Hajiyev made his debut in a new weight class. Our representative, competing in the 79 kg category, won a bronze medal at the traditional competition.
It should be noted that Musa Agayev (65 kg) achieved the same result yesterday.
