Jabrayil Hajiyev Misses Bronze at World Championships, Osman Nurmagomedov Still Has a Chance

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Jabrayil Hajiyev (79 kg) did not win a bronze medal at the World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.

According to Idman.biz, Hajiyev lost to Ashgar Nokhodilarimi (Iran, 2:4) in the fight for third place.

Another representative of Azerbaijan has a chance to win bronze - Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) will fight Miriani Maisuradze (Georgia).

It should be reminded that earlier Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) won a silver medal at the World Championships, and Nuredin Novruzov (61 kg) and Arseni Djioyev (86 kg) won bronze medals.
