The new center opened in Fuzuli will be very useful for Azerbaijani wrestling.
This was stated by Haji Aliyev, world and European wrestling champion, Olympic silver and bronze medalist, in an interview with "Report".
He spoke about the wrestling center, which he attended the opening of in Fuzuli city yesterday:
"I would like to express my gratitude to the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation. They do not forget teenagers living in surrounding districts and villages who are interested in wrestling. While attending the opening of the new center in Fuzuli yesterday, the joy of the children and teachers there was evident in their eyes. It is a happy event that wrestling is loved in the regions of Azerbaijan. As a former wrestler, my duty is to support young people. The opening of such halls will greatly benefit Azerbaijani wrestling. Thanks to such centers, new world, European, and Olympic prize winners will be trained in our regions. I am very happy that I witnessed the historical moments in Fuzuli live."
It was noted that 70 young people are engaged in freestyle wrestling under the leadership of experienced coach Vusal Eminov in the newly commissioned center in Fuzuli.
