Luis Loy, a member of the German Greco-Roman wrestling team participating in the U-23 European Championship in Zrenjanin, Serbia, greatly admires Sakit Guliyev (63 kg), a former teammate.
The athlete stated this in an interview with a "Report" correspondent who was dispatched to the competition.
He said that he was a teammate with the Azerbaijani athlete in Germany:
"I know Sakit Guliyev from Azerbaijani athletes. He is the national champion. We played in the same team in the German Wrestling League with him. He is a very good athlete and I like him. I have not met other Azerbaijani wrestlers."
He assessed his chances in the tournament:
"I lost to the Belarusian athlete in the 1/4 finals. Now I hope that he will win in the semi-finals and I can participate in consolation matches. I think I still have a chance to win a prize."
