Six foreign referees will participate in the Azerbaijan Wrestling Championship along with local referees.
Sarkhan Musali, head of the press service of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, informed Idman.Biz about this.
"In this national championship, along with our local referees, six highly qualified referees from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Romania will also participate. The championship will start on January 7 at the Baku Sports Palace, and the official opening ceremony will be held on January 8," said Sarkhan Musali.
It should be noted that due to the small number of female wrestlers, competitions will not be organized in this category. The Azerbaijan Greco-Roman and Freestyle Wrestling Championships will be held from January 7 to 11.
