Eldaniz Azizli breaks Azerbaijan wrestling record for most medals at World Championships

Eldaniz Azizli has set a new record in Azerbaijani wrestling by winning the most medals at the World Championships.

Idman.biz reports that in Zagreb, Croatia, he won a bronze medal in the 55 kg weight category, reaching his seventh podium at the World Championships.

Thus, the captain of the Azerbaijani national team set a new record for the country by winning four gold and three bronze medals. With this achievement, he surpassed Maria Stadnik, who has six World Championship medals (two gold, three silver, and one bronze).
