Simone Garcia Johnson, the 24-year-old daughter of legendary American wrestler and famous Hollywood actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, has refused to renew her contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
According to Idman.Biz, Johnson has also left the federation.
"Last Tuesday night was my last night with NXT and, by extension, with WWE. I am so grateful for everyone who has cared for me, watched me perform, and supported me throughout my career. To say that not renewing my contract was a difficult decision would be an understatement. This also means it's a new turning point in my life. Being Ava (this was the name Simona performed under in fights - ed.) was an honor and a privilege," Johnson wrote on the X social platform.
She later posted an aggressive message directed at the Trump administration: "And now I can say this from the bottom of my heart: f*** ICE and the whole administration".
She later deleted this post. Simona is unhappy with Trump's actions, as well as those of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
