Bilyal Makhov Stripped of Two World Championship Medals Due to Doping

Russian wrestler Bilyal Makhov (130 kg) has been disqualified for 5 years.

İdman.biz reports that the Olympic champion has been stripped of two medals.

The International Doping Test Agency (ITA) has disqualified Makhov from January 2015 to the summer of 2025. His two medals won at the world championships (2014 and 2015) during this period have been revoked.

It should be noted that the 37-year-old wrestler is the gold medalist of the London 2012 Olympics. Makhov is a three-time world champion and a European champion.
