The wrestlers who will represent Azerbaijan at the ranking tournament in Hungary have been determined.
The press service of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation informed "Report" about this.
Our freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers will represent our country in the last ranking competition of the year. In the first two days of the tournament, which will be held at the BOK Sports Palace, members of the national freestyle wrestling team will take to the mat. In the next 2 days, our Greco-Roman wrestlers will compete.
Under the leadership of head coach Khetag Gazumov and senior coach Jabrayil Hasanov, freestyle wrestlers Islam Bazarqanov (57 kg), Ali Rahimzade (65 kg), Kenan Heybatov (70 kg), Magomed-Bashir Khaniyev (74 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg), Osman Nurmagomedov, Abubakr Abakarov (92 kg) and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) will participate in the competition.
Under the leadership of head coach Alexander Tarakanov, senior coach Rovshan Bayramov, coaches Hasan Aliyev and Kamran Mammadov, Greco-Roman wrestlers Nihat Mammadli, Ilkin Gurbanov (both 60 kg), Ziya Babashov (63 kg), Farid Khalilov (67 kg), Hasrat Jafarov, Ruslan Nurullayev (both 72 kg), Sanan Suleymanov, Ulvi Ganizade (77 kg), Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg), Islam Abbasov (87 kg), Murad Ahmadiev, Arif Niftullayev (both 97 kg) and Beka Kandelaki, Sarxan Mammadov (both 130 kg) will compete.
Category I referee Kamran Aliyev will ensure justice in the ranking tournament.
It should be noted that the tournament will be held from July 17 to 20.
