Azerbaijan's beach wrestlers will participate in the European Championships among juniors (U-15, U-17) and youth (U-20), which will start tomorrow in Poreč, Croatia.
The press service of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation told "Report" about this.
On the first day of the two-day competition, the winners among juniors will be determined, and on the second day, the winners among youth.
Our country will be represented in the U-17 age group at the continental championship. Under the leadership of head coach Oyan Nazariani, Aykhan Guliyev, Rashid Nazarov (both 60 kg), Ruslan Veliyev (70 kg) and Nihad Suleymanli (80 kg) will try to achieve success.
The competition, which will be held on Laguna beach, will start at 12:00 Baku time. During the day session, group stage matches will be held. The matches for medals will start from 19:00.
I-S category referee Sadi Guliyev will ensure fairness at the European Championship.
