Azerbaijan's freestyle wrestling team has departed for Turkey.
The Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation's press service informed "Report" about this.
The team will hold a training camp in Kastamonu with the local team until August 20. The preparation process, which is in preparation for the World Championship to be held in Croatia in September, will include both physical and tactical-technical exercises.
Under the leadership of head coach Khetag Gazyumov, senior coach Jabrayil Hasanov, coaches Taymuraz Kokoyev and Sharif Sharifov, Islam Bazarqanov, Muhammedali Alizade (both 57 kg), Nureddin Novruzov, Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (both 61 kg), Ali Rahimi, Ruslan Abdullayev, Murad Haqverdiyev (all 65 kg), Kenan Heybatov, Sabir Jafarov (both 70 kg), Turan Bayramov, Magomed-Bashir Khaniev (both 74 kg), Farid Jabbarov, Jabrayil Hajiyev (both 79 kg), Arseni Cioiev, Ali Tsokaev (both 86 kg), Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg), Magomedkhan Magomedov, Zafar Aliyev (both 97 kg), Khetag Karsanov and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) are participating in the training camp.
It should be reminded that the Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestling team is also preparing for the World Championship in Turkey.
