The Azerbaijani national freestyle wrestling team has started its next training camp.
According to "Report", the team, which went on a few days of rest after completing the Guba training camp, has traveled to Batumi, Georgia.
The national team will hold a joint training camp with the teams of Georgia, Austria, Norway, and Ukraine until June 21.
19 wrestlers are participating in the training camp under the leadership of head coach Khetag Gazyumov, senior coach Jabrayil Hasanov, and coaches Taymuraz Kokoyev and Sharif Sharifov. The team includes Islam Bazarqanov (57 kg), Musa Agayev, Ruslan Abdullayev (both 65 kg), Kenan Heybatov, Ziraddin Bayramov (both 70 kg), Aghanazar Novruzov, Turan Bayramov, Magomed-Bashir Khaniyev (all 74 kg), Farid Jabbarov, Jabrayil Hajiyev, Sabuhi Amiraslanov (all 79 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg), Osman Nurmagomedov, Abubakr Abakarov, Sadiq Mustafazade (all 92 kg), Magomedkhan Magomedov, Zafar Aliyev (both 97 kg), Giorgi Meshvildishvili and Khetag Karsanov (both 125 kg).
The training camp is preparatory in nature for the final ranking tournament of the year, which will be held in Hungary from July 17 to 20.
