Two Azerbaijani wrestling referees have been promoted to the first category. This was reported by the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation.
Eldar Bayramov at the Spanish Grand Prix this year (July 4-6), and Ali Babayev at the "Poland Open" tournament (July 30 - August 3), in addition to protecting justice, successfully passed the exams organized by the United World Wrestling (UWW).
Referees who previously whistled on the carpet in the II category will manage the matches in the status of a referee of the I degree from the next year.
This promotion will allow them to participate in the European and world championships for U-17, U-20, U-23 age groups, as well as in rating tournaments, starting from the next year.
