Azerbaijani referee Natig Hajiyev, who participated in the U-17 World Championship held in Athens, the capital of Greece, has ended his career.
"Report" reports that this was the experienced referee's last international competition.
In accordance with the rules of the United World Wrestling (UWW), our compatriot, who has reached the age of 60, officially handed over his whistle and armbands, bidding farewell to his international refereeing activities. On the last day of the competition, the supreme body presented the referee with a souvenir gift on this occasion.
It should be noted that, along with N. Hajiyev, Elman Ismayilov also maintained justice in the World Cup.
