Zalov officiated wrestling competitions at the Montreal-1976 and Moscow-1980 Olympic Games and made significant contributions to the development of this sport in our country.
In addition to his many years of refereeing, Makan Zalov is remembered as one of the most influential figures in the organizational and referee training aspects of wrestling.
