In Greco-Roman wrestling, Nihad Guluzade (60 kg) and Mahammad Shukurzade (67 kg) won silver medals, while Lachin Veliyev (87 kg) won a bronze medal. In women's wrestling, Elnura Mammadova (53 kg) won a silver medal, and Nargiz Samadova (53 kg) and Birgul Soltanova (62 kg) won bronze medals.
It should be noted that Asmar Cankurtaran (50 kg) and Gultakin Shirinova (55 kg) finished fifth on the first day of the competition. Freestyle wrestling will take place in the last 2 days of the tournament.
