The U-23 European Championships, held in Zrenjanin, Serbia, continue.
According to the information from "Report"'s correspondent dispatched to the competition, 4 Azerbaijani wrestlers will compete on the mat on the last - 7th day of the tournament.
Elmin Aliyev (82 kg) will face Georgian Tornike Mikeladze in the final.
Ayxan Cavadov (60 kg) and Farid Khalilov (67 kg) will compete for a bronze medal.
Farahim Mustafayev (72 kg) will compete in the consolation match.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani wrestlers have won a total of 13 medals so far at the U-23 European Championships. Ali Tsokayev (92 kg) and Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg) became European champions. Farid Sadykhly, Gultekin Shirinova (both 55 kg), Vasif Bagirov (57 kg), Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg), Ruzanna Mammadova (62 kg), Sabuhi Amiraslanov (79 kg), Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) won silver medals, and Ilkin Gurbanov (63 kg), Musa Agayev (65 kg), Ramik Heybatov (70 kg) and Zafar Aliyev (97 kg) won bronze medals.
