It was reported that our athletes won a total of 73 medals at continental championships in various age groups.
The Azerbaijani anthem was played 22 times at these competitions. 21 of our wrestlers won silver medals, and 30 won bronze medals.
Freestyle wrestlers won 8 gold, 12 silver, and 13 bronze medals at the European championships. In Greco-Roman wrestling, our representatives rose to the highest step of the podium 8 times, took second place 8 times, and were satisfied with third place 11 times. Women wrestlers were remembered with 4 gold, 1 silver, and 5 bronze medals. In beach wrestling, 2 gold and 1 bronze awards were obtained.
