According to the Western Bureau of "Report", our wrestler Ali Hajiyev, competing in the 80 kg weight category at the competition held at the Ganja City Olympic Complex, lost to his Uzbek opponent in the final and won a silver medal.
Thus, the number of our medalists in wrestling competitions reached 6 (Ravan Hasanzade (48 kg) gold, Huseyn Ismayilov (65 kg) silver, Ibrahim Suleymanov (55 kg), female wrestlers Esra Mammadli (57 kg), Khadija Gurbanzade (49 kg) and Ali Hajiyev (80 kg)).
