The U-23 European Wrestling Championship continues in Zrenjanin, Serbia. Sport24.az reports that 5 freestyle wrestlers from Azerbaijan will join the competition on the second day of the tournament.
Ceyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg), Aghanazar Novruzov (74 kg), Vasif Khudiyev (86 kg), Ali Tsokayev (92 kg) and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) will test their strength. Vasif Baghirov (57 kg) and Sabuhi Amiraslanov (79 kg) will compete for the gold medal, Musa Aghayev (65 kg) and Zafar Aliyev (97 kg) will compete for the bronze medal, and Ramik Heybatov (70 kg) will compete in the consolation round.
The continental championship will end on March 15.
