The Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestling team is preparing for the World Championship in Turkey.
"Report" reports, citing the press service of the Wrestling Federation, that the team, which left the day before, has settled in the training base of the Turkish Wrestling Federation in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul.
The preparation process, which will be held jointly with the local team, will last two weeks. The training camp will include both physical and tactical-technical exercises.
The preparation process, which is preparatory for the World Championship to be held in Croatia in September, includes Eldeniz Azizli, Elmir Aliyev, Rashad Mammadov (all 55 kg), Nihat Mammadli, Huseyn Garibov, Ilkin Gurbanov, Nihad Guluzade (all 60 kg), Murad Mammadov, Ziya Babashov (both 63 kg), Hasrat Mammadiyarov, Farid Khalililov, Muhammad Shukruzade (all 67 kg), Ulvu Ganizade (72 kg), Sanan Suleymanov (77 kg), Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg), Islam Abbasov, Lachin Valiyev (both 87 kg), Murad Ahmadiev (97 kg), Sarkhan Mammadov and Beka Kandelaki (both 130 kg) under the leadership of head coach Aleksandr Tarakanov, senior coach Rovshan Bayramov, coaches Hasan Aliyev and Kamran Mammadov.
