Azerbaijani wrestler Mahammad Abdullazade has been disqualified for 48 months for violating anti-doping rules.
"Report" reports with reference to AMADA that this was caused by the presence of a prohibited substance or its metabolites or markers in the athlete's sample.
The wrestler was punished for using or attempting to use a prohibited substance or method. S4 Hormones and Metabolic Modulators - Meldonium were found in his sample.
The effective date of M.Abdullazade's sanction is indicated as March 15 of last year. The duration of the punishment will end on March 15, 2028.
