The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) has disqualified wrestler Aslan Abakarov for 36 months.
This was reported to "Report" by the AMADA press service.
It was reported that this was due to the presence of a prohibited substance or its metabolites or markers in the athlete's sample and the athlete's use or attempted use of a prohibited substance or prohibited method.
The sanction, which was applied on February 7, will expire on February 7, 2028.
It should be noted that the 21-year-old wrestler won a bronze medal in the 97 kg weight category at the Azerbaijan Championship held in December 2024.
