The "Victory Cup" in wrestling started on April 12 in Antalya, Turkey. Sport24.az reports that on the first day of the traditional tournament held for the U-17 age group, 4 of our wrestlers rose to the podium.
In freestyle wrestling, Ibrahim Hasanov (51 kg) defeated all his opponents and won the gold medal.
Our Greco-Roman wrestlers won a set of medals on the first day of the competition. Huseyn Mustafazade took second place in 51 kg, and Ilkin Gurbanov took third place. Ali Mammadov (71 kg), who gave no chance to his opponents, won the gold medal.
