Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers, who performed successfully at the U-20 World Championship held in Samokov, Bulgaria, have returned to their homeland.
"Report" reports that they were met by journalists and members of the public at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
It should be noted that the team won 1 set of medals at the continental championship.
Our team scored 90 points with 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal and became the third in the world. The national team has achieved its best result in the last 3 years in terms of the number of medals, their quality, the points scored, and the team position in the ranking.
In the team, Aykhan Javadov (60 kg) won gold, Turan Dashdamirov (55 kg) won silver, and Farayim Mustafayev (67 kg) won bronze.
