Today, Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers will join the competition at the World Championship continuing in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. According to Sport24.az, four of our wrestlers - 4-time world champion Eldaniz Azizli (55 kg), Sanan Suleymanov (77 kg), Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg) and Beka Kandelaki (130 kg) - will test their strength in the competition.
It should be noted that before this, our freestyle wrestling team finished the world championship with 4 medals. Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) won silver, while Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg) and Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) won bronze medals.
