It was reported that Magsud Huseynli won a bronze medal in the sabre event for adults, and Farah Abasova won a bronze medal in the sabre event for youth.
Among male sabre fencers, Rasul Aliyev was 7th out of 60 participants, Timur Husnaddinov was 12th, and Nahid Mammadli was 22nd.
Valentina Zeynalova, who stopped fighting one step away from the medal in the girls' competition, was 5th, Leyla Ahmadova was 11th, Ayan Aghasiyeva was 13th, Zuleykha Sultanli was 20th, Cahan Sadikhova was 24th, and Irina Lobas was 27th.
