Four wrestling halls have been put into operation in Goychay.
Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AGF) has released information about this.
AGF continues its activities to strengthen infrastructure and material and technical base in the regions. The opening ceremony of the halls was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, AGF vice-presidents Namig Aliyev, Namig Abdullayev, Farid Mansurov, as well as the federation's Secretary General Parvin Piriyev.
Within the framework of the Wrestling Federation's cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education, the gyms of secondary schools No. 1, 3 and 6 in Goychay city, as well as the Karabaggal village secondary school, have been thoroughly renovated and made available to wrestlers.
Classes are free of charge in these centers, where trainings in all types of wrestling will be held. All conditions have been created in the newly commissioned halls for more than 600 athletes to train.
It should be noted that the federation regularly plans to open new wrestling halls in the regions throughout the year.
