Hasan Hasanov (60 kg) won confident victories over Greek Pavlos Ntiantiadis and Kyrgyz Ulukman Jekšenkulov (7:2) in consolation matches. Our compatriot won a bronze medal by defeating Canadian Nathan Nash with a minimal difference (5:4) in the decisive match.
Ramal Mirhuseynov (51 kg) lost to Indian Danraj Jamnik with a score of 4:7 in the consolation match.
Rashad Veysalov (71 kg) won against Georgian Koba Goquadze with a score of 12:10 in the first consolation match, but lost to Uzbek Farrukhbek Jumanazarov by "pin" in the second consolation match.
Said Pashayev (92 kg) was stronger than Ukrainian Samir Ibishev in the consolation match - 2:0. Our European champion became the world's third by defeating Kazakh Beibaris Yergali with a score of 5:3 in the match for the bronze medal.
The previous day, Huseyn Ismayilov (65 kg) became the world champion, and Hakim Tagiyev (110 kg) took third place.
