Azerbaijan will be represented by 39 wrestlers at the U-15 European Championship, which will be held in Caorle, Italy from June 25 to 28.

According to the regulations, countries can be represented by 13 athletes in each type. Since 2022, we have been competing in the U15 European Championships in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling with a full squad, and this time we will be represented by a full squad in women's wrestling.
Freestyle wrestlers will start the responsible competition. Under the leadership of senior coach Namig Guliyev, coaches Elshad Allahverdiyev and Khagan Suleymanov, Sarkhan Musayev, Javanshir Suleymanov (both 38 kg), Huseyn Rzazade (41 kg), Ibrahim Hasanov (44 kg), Tunar Sultanzade, Akbar Asgarov (both 48 kg), Yusif Huseynov (52 kg), Muraz Huseynov, Eljan Hasanov (both 57 kg), Mahammad Hasanli (62 kg), Khayal Shukurlu (68 kg), Elvin Najafzade (75 kg) and Elgun Karimli (85 kg) will try to succeed.
On June 26, girls will join the fight under the leadership of senior coaches Hasrat Mammadov and Solmaz Adilova. The team includes Ulviyya Musayeva (33 kg), Gulay Khasmammadova (36 kg), Leyla Asgarova (39 kg), Gulnar Agadadashova, Yagmur Malikli (both 42 kg), Nuray Jafarli, Maryam Hajiyeva (both 46 kg), Gunel Karimli, Aisha Jabbarova (both 50 kg), Maryam Amrali (54 kg), Inci Abdullayeva (58 kg), Rana Nuriyeva (62 kg) and Simura Abdullayeva (66 kg).
Greco-Roman wrestlers will conclude the continental championship. Under the leadership of senior coach Abilfat Mammadov, coaches Ilham Vezirov and Taleh Mammadov, Huseyn Amrahli, Khudayar Karimli (both 38 kg), Rahib Ahmadov (41 kg), Omar Salmanov (44 kg), Vakil Bashirov (48 kg), Gurban Majnunov, Huseyn Mustafazade (both 52 kg), Ibrahim Mammadovzadeh (57 kg), Nadir Hasanov (62 kg), Ali Mammadov (68 kg), Ruslan Nuruyev (75 kg), Mahammad Orujov and Zohrab Safarov (both 85 kg) will compete on the mat.
Kanan Hajialiyev and Sevinj Yusibova, who have the III category, will also be among the referees who will manage the competition, which will start every day at 13:00 Baku time.
