The national wrestling championship among juniors and adults will be held with the joint organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan National Sports Association (AMINA). Sport24.az reports with reference to the AMINA press service that the tournament will be held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.
Wrestlers from various clubs, societies and sports organizations of the capital and regions will compete for medals in the competition.
The main goal of the championship is to determine the composition of the Azerbaijani national team for the next year in the relevant age groups, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle through sports among teenagers and adults, as well as to achieve mass promotion and encouragement of national wrestling.
It should be noted that the competition will be held on November 16.
