The Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestling team took first place in the team standings at the ranking tournament that ended in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijani wrestlers won a total of one gold and three bronze medals, scoring 94 points.
This allowed them to surpass the Kazakhstan (88 points) and Uzbekistan (87) teams, which took second and third places, respectively.
Nihat Mammadli (60 kg) won gold for Azerbaijan, while Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg), Islam Abbasov (87 kg) and Murad Ahmadiev (97 kg) won bronze medals.
