It's a good feeling to return home with a medal.
This was stated to "Report" by Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg), Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler who won a bronze medal at the World Championship held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
He stated that the competition was difficult:
"I want to thank all the people of Azerbaijan. It is really a very pleasant feeling to return home with a medal. There is a lot of fan support. This gives extra motivation and helps us a lot. I feel the support of the fans. I also express my great gratitude to the leadership of our federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. My wish is that Azerbaijan be known as a sports country all over the world."
It should be noted that Arseniy Djioyev defeated French representative Rakhim Magamadov with a score of 7:0 in the match for third place.
